VR Game

My role: 3D Generalist​

This was a VR game where players would stand on a motion platform and slowly descend through a frozen lab, shooting at various aliens as they come through with the VR gun.

My involvement was primarily modelling and texturing props and environment assets.

VR Gun​

Players would interact with the game using a vive controller attached to a MAG P90 holder (see below). This needed to be visualised in the game as a hero asset.

 

I measured up the prop in the office and modelled this hero asset based off that.  

Environment Design

I created some assets for the environment, with no concept art I was free to have fun with my own ideas, the brief was 80's sci-fi meets a frozen underground hellscape.

I researched similar doors online, and put a bit of thought into how this door would work, giving it a human sized keypad to give it a bit of scale. I loved working out the mechanics of the door.
